I’ve been having an issue where sometimes when I turn on my xbox one, my xbox says I need to update my game to play it, and the update ends up being the whole game( Fortnite needs about 10GB and Warface needs 8GB). This isn’t issue with data downloaded
from my disc, only the network downloads and this doesn’t affect all of my digitally downloaded games (like Rocket League which hasn’t had this problem). Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

    :)

It updated, still doesn't work. I'm wondering if it's a network issue, but both my xbox and PC are networked via ethernet cable to a motorola sbg6580

  3. How do you fix error code 0x89234013?

Our Internet is not blocking any ports and the Firewall Protection is set to low. When you go to the network settings of our Xbox there is a double NAT. Could this have something to do with it? I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Xbox app, but that didn't fix anything either.

    Hi Grimlock,

Thanks for your post. It does not look the console is re-downloading a full game installation for an update. Update sized depend on the developer, if a developer is pushing out an update with a large amount of changes and new content/bug fixes it will reflect
with the size of the download. For troubleshooting, try out reinstallation of the game, here's how to do so:

Please let us know how this goes, thanks again.

Hey Grimlock thanks for keeping in touch!

This is an awkward one, but rest assured we are here to help! If the console is still doing this after the advice given by fellow XBF Ezra G has been done we suggest a reset of the console since
the problem might be on the actual OS of the console so we would suggest a

    Soft Factory Reset
(while keeping games and apps) IF AND ONLY IF THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA IS MET:

    • There is a stable network connection.
    • The information for all profiles is known (email and passwords)
Once the setup is complete it will ask if we want to keep settings or manual setup lets do manual setup. Also an added benefit is that all the caches will be cleared out to make sure there is no corrupt data. Give it a shot and
let us know of any changes!

Okay thanks Ezra. I did check and it seems to be only happening when the developer actually releases a new update for my game. However, it does seem to be reinstalling the whole game since my Fifa 19 update had to install 40GB for just one update and when
I checked the size of the update online the developer said it was around 1.3GB, so it seems to me that everytime I do an update the whole game seems to be re-installing. Any help on this would be appreciated, thanks.

    Digital game

simply downloading your gamertag to your new xbox will give you access to your games and apps. you will need to reinstall them from your ready to install list. its also possible to do a network transfer, its a lot faster but it will require you to have
both xbox connected to the same network.

Assassin's Creed 4 Black Flag In-game installation stops?

I would suggest uninstalling the game, disconnecting from the network, reinstall the game, connect to the network, download the update.

You wont lose any saved data by doing this too. Give that a shot, and let me know what happens
