Xbox region, my cards and fifa 19

Hi

After a while I decided to purchase the fifa 19, on the argentinian store (which is where I live).

I tried to do that with 2 cards I have on my account, both of them with legal addreses in argentina, but it´s impossible. I spoke several times with mexican support (I guess there is no regional support in argentina) and in all cases they told the problem
is that both my cards where not from the same region than my xbox, or something like that, that I was supposed to call my cards, my banks or who knows where, to ask them to fix the issue. Thing is that I been using both cards till june I guess with no problems
at all. Actually I paid my gold and ea access with those cards earlier this year, so its a bit hard to understand that my bank did without any other reason a change on the card (region?) that made it useless, not only with one of my cards, but with two, from
two different banks.

Also uploaded info from a 3rd card from a 3rd bank, not working either.

Im tired of this.

Pre-ordering FIFA 19

I pre-ordered FIFA 19 on 8/30, I assumed the payment went through right away considering my Xbox One started downloading FIFA 19 right away. Last week I received a message from Xbox Live saying they had a problem completing my order of FIFA 19 and to visit
account.microsoft.com/orders to update my payment method in order to prevent my purchase from being canceled. I went onto the site and unselected my debit card and selected it again since it is the only payment method I use. I had noticed a few days later
that I had been charged for the game. Could I have possibly been charged twice for the game?

Otherwise only Xbox Support or your bank will be able to tell you the reason for this.

 

If I go to the first link I can see my 3 cards all of them says that the region for purchase is argentina, and also I can see I have my suscription to gold and ea access covered.

On the second link I saw the detail both from the ea access subscription and the gold subscription. Both of them running fine, the gold was paid for 12 month the 25th of may this year.

I saw on the facebook from xbox Argentina that there are multiple customers with same issue for the last 10 days.

I would love to get an answer from Microsoft about this. Cause support over phone or chat was trying to make it look as if it is a problem Im having with my bank, which I see it´s not the case.

Brad, I spoke at least 5 times since last monday, the only anwser i get is the same, your card region is not fine, please call your card.

Just imagine how crazy this sounds to my banks when I call them to say, hey, microsoft says the region you are using won´t work for this customer. They don´t even know what that means.

Besides, it´s hard to believe that the same thing happening to me is because of my bank, since I saw there are multiple users with the same issue, and that I´ve been using those cards before to purchase subscriptions to microsoft.

Have you checked your Xbox console to make sure you have it set to the correct region where you live?

Go to Settings>System>Language & Location>Location.

Also let's check the account region on Xbox.com. Once you go there, sign into your account and select the person icon on the top right. From the drop down menu, select Xbox Settings and then
Change 360 account region.

I just changed my region by mistake to Australia, Im in argentina. I can´t go back. Anyways, Im having this issue with xbox one, not xbox 360.

Did you just change the region by accident right now or how long ago?

And before you were not able to make purchases, did you change any settings to your account or has everything always been the same since you made your last purchase?

Also would you mind telling us what error message or code you get when trying to make a purchase?

I did it right after you mention, but by mistake, since I was already on argentina, when I tried going back to Argentina now says I should wait for a year. Anyways, I had the issue before, I keep having it, but I called again to microsoft line and they told
me my console is worthless for the next 3 month, cause they can´t swich the region back, and Im supposed to deal with it. I never got so many troubles to buy a game in my life, and not to mention the crappy customer service Im getting just to pay for a (Mod
Removed-Profanity) game Im willing to pay for.

They also suggested me to purchase a gift card before I switched the region, now they say unless someone from the australian market buys the gift, it´s gonna be pointless as well.

I guess Im done and should sell this xbox, this is the worst experience I ever had with microsoft, besides, I spoke on the official chanell on facebook and no one even attempted to answer a word.
