    Xbox redeem code text box not appearing


    hello! i am having trouble with no answers. Here's the case: I have tried every avenue of getting to the 'redeem a code' text box and nothing is working. When I go to 'use a code' on the console I get to the screen with the little guy holding a QR code and
    there are two buttons 'cancel' and 'enter code'. Every time I click the 'enter code' button I get the usual A button chime, the screen dims, and nothing happens no text box to enter a code. I have tried to enter codes via smartglass, online and Windows 10
    with no luck. I called customer service today to report the problem and verify there is no suspensions or outstanding balances and I was clear. They did mention a small handful of accounts having this issue. Does anyone know a workaround or how to fix this
    so I can at least get my games redeemed and downloaded. I even tried spamming the 'enter code' button as a desperate cry for help. It chimes every time I push A, dims the screen but then nothing. This issue has been going on for a few days now and I updated
    my console so it is current. At this point I'd much rather have a hard copy

    Bizarre Xbox live / game receipt problem

    Bought an Xbox live code for my sons for Christmas from Game via my debit card and it came as a text code on a basic receipt. Dopy dick here then lost the receipt before redeeming the code. Will Game be able to trace/link the purchase to the code via my debit card? Obviously the coffee isn't redeemed so not like I'm blagging anything? Lol

    Turn a Text Code into a QR Code

    I got my NowTV credit for Xbox live today. They emailed he familiar text code and I ought it'd be cool to turn that into a QR code that Kinect could read for me on the X1.
    Dead easy, I used the iOS app
    Fancy QR Code Generator
    But plenty of others are available, including websites
    Copied and pasted the text into the text box in the app, clicked generate and then saved the QR code as an image
    Used the command, Xbox, use a code then used my iPad to show Kinect my QR Code and it worked. Sweet Xbox redeem code text box not appearing :)

    same trouble!and this has been lasted for 24 hours!!! I called them, and they said gonna solve it "shortly"....guess they r super busy ppl who just dont give a *** on us

    When you say you tried entering the code online, which browser(s) did you try? Explore, Edge, Chrome, Firefox?

    And you're going to this page (account.microsoft.com/.../redeem) to enter it online correct?

    What is the error code you get? It will appear at two lines of letter and numbers at the bottom right corner of the redeem box on xbox.com.
