Xbox record that .who's stupid idea was that then?

So is there any other way to record a clip without having to shout "Xbox record that"?

I cant be the only guy who plays Xbox in bed while his other halfs sleeping? And having to say Xbox record that isn't ideal.

And sometimes it doesn't even record without saying it 50 times.

All the things they fannied about with on the controller they couldn't put a simple button that records your 30 second clip.

Or am I missing something??

Think you can snap game dvr, and then do it manually, I have the same problem bud

Double tap the white Xbox button>Game dvr>End clip now>Then choose last 30s,45s,1min,3min 5 min

If it's only though remember you cNt control your character when on the snap menu, otherwise I don't think there's any other way of doing it

 

There must a simply way or what are all the gamers going to do with the kinectless versions?

 

The double tap to snap is the only alternative, just as Flaming Pingu mentioned. It's not that much of an inconvenience to be honest. It would be nice if they could incorporate something in the snap menu to just save instantly or start recording instantly,
rather than have to go into the DVR menu, though.

The snap menu can become a bit of a mess, too. You should be able to tailor it to your liking permanently, e.g. always have achievements at the top.
