Xbox "Record That" Question

Hello if anyone knows the answer to my question I would be greatly appreciated. Normally I don't use Xbox record that because I keep thinking to myself it will use to much memory overtime especially when you're game records things that you don't necessarily
want.

Does recorded Xbox clips use Cloud Storage or Internal Storage?

Has anyone tried recording any clips by using the voice feature?I was playing rivals, alone of course...,like most cant get any games to join in.

Anywho i said "xbox record that".... it popped up in the corner that it heard me but nothing was there when i look in the upload studio/My clips section. its suppose to record the last 30 seconds when using the voice feature.
i tried this on ryse & it works perfect, didnt know if anyone else has tried with rivals ?

 

Xbox "Record That" Issue

Lately I have been playing Battlefield 4 and have missed out on some epic gaming moments because the "Xbox Record That" function is only getting 1 second of game footage. This just started happening within the past 2 weeks. I had no issues prior to this.
Is there any fix for this?

 

I assume there is some reserved space on the HDD for a certain amount of clips but they are definitely stored on the cloud because they can be accessed from other consoles and devices(phones/ web browsers, etc.). I have a ton of clips and it hasn't made
a big dent on memory, it is also supposed to delete older stuff overtime unless you go into the upload app and tell your Xbox to save the clip. So record away!

like he said.. the clips are all cloud based... so record that away my friend

 

I was able to save 99+ clips to the Cloud before having to make room for more. You can have more than that, but this is just to let you know how many you can actually SAVE at one time.

^^ What is the error message? Lets try to get it sorted because in my opinion the game DVR is the best feature it has. Even if you don't like to show people your clips, it's nice to have them for special gaming moments. Everyone has thought "dude that was
awesome, I wish I could see that again" or something along those lines.

Please don't be mad / angry at me, but the best feature is still missing and it is the " Xbox 360s ability to rip your CDs into your HDD and listen to your own songs anytime that you want ".

The game DVR is a nice addition to the Xbox One, but as far as I'm concerned the game DVR is as appealing to me as multiplayer gaming (95% solo gamer & 5% multiplayer gamer. Cooperative Modes only, I HATE PvP Modes).

I love my Xbox One, but this feature (play my own music anytime that you want to) is still missing and at this rate, I think that this update will never ever happend at all

Lei Fang, I could never get that rip feature to work on Xbox 360...

 

The console is constantly capturing video to the hard drive, so that when you say "Xbox record that", it captures the last 30 seconds, adds it to the list of your clips in Upload, then it gets uploaded to Xbox Live so that you can view it via SmartGlass
and Xbox.com.

You can only store a finite number of clips on the hard drive (and possibly on Xbox Live too as I doubt they give you literally unlimited space), but any clips that you don't manually choose to save and keep - i.e. clips that are automatically recorded by
games - will get discarded over time.

A 30 second clip is about 15MB, so the clips really don't use up a lot of space. There's an area of the hard drive reserved for them anyway, so your available hard drive space will never shrink because of the number of clips you've saved. At worst, all that
will happen is it will tell you that you have too many clips saved, so you'll have to delete some.

I've never had any issues with ripping store bought CDs into my Xbox 360 HDD. But I did experience issues with songs that were purchased on-line (it would completely ignore them sometimes).
