Xbox record that! Not working. Or just ignoring me.

So I say "Xbox record that" and I get nothing. Not notification, no actual clip recorded in my clips. Nothing nada zip zilch.

I say "Xbox" and up pops the the screen with suggestions topography the list " record that" I say " record that" again nothing. If I use any of the other voice commands so far they all work. I can use the snap dvr to record that but whats the point in not
playing for 30 seconds.

Funny how only a a few days ago I posted about how gash of an idea was to have to say "record that" instead of also having the choice to press a button on the pad to record for when its not ideal to be saying "Xbox record that"

Dashboard had changed when I logged on so I'm guessing theres been an update.coincidence??

GIVE US THE OPTION TO CLICK A BUTTON TO RECORD CLIPS AS WELL AS VOICE COMMANDS. oh and why I'm moaning the new controller sucks and the home button should work the way it did on the 360. And why have you released a new console that lacks most of the stuff
on the 360? Completely underwhelmed with the Xbox one I just say.

Hey Doomed Saint,

I found this command a little earlier last month, if Record That isn't working the way it's supposed to, try "Xbox, Snap Game DVR" This will allow you to record a 5 minute segment instead of 30 second clips.

Same thing happened to me yesterday.

 

Recalibrate your Kinect mate. It did that on me a while back.

 

If you want 360 features use a 360.

Or why not try posting your suggestions over on the feedback forum.

 

I've noticed the Kinect hasn't been working for me when it's in standby, and I've tried using my voice to turn it on. A recalibration done the trick, at least temporarily. Happened again the other day.

 

Recalibrate. Every other command works fine. By Xbox record that just does nothing. Got frustrated and said Xbox record that 3 times and it recorded . I dunno what else I can do.
