Xbox "record that " not recording some clips?

hi there people,

had a bit of a problem lately with my DVR function.

when im playing for example titanfall, i do the " xbox record that" it acknowledges me saying record that, says that the clip has been recorded but out of 6 " record that's" i do only 1-2 are available for me to watch. it doesn't save any others..... any
idea why?

any thing i can try? its always the good bits that dont actually record and it can be very annoying

Assuming you mean recording
yourself playing games and not copying them, you probably just need to hook up the Composite cable that came with the console to the DVD player.



If you bought the DVD recorder to record gaming, it's probably better to return it and pick up a high definition recording system that works with a PC instead.

 

Game DVR "Record that" not recording sound

Hey,

I know this is an issue some people had since the April update. Sometimes "Record that" does NOT record sound on my clips. I then have to shut down XBOX ONE and restart, sometimes only plugging off Kinect helps (found this workaround on YouTube). It happens
on Halo, Diablo, Sunset and other games. Tried every workaround now, but nothing helps permanently.

Any news on a permanent fix for this by Microsoft? Happens since about two months now and really annoys me.

 

Yep. Others are having this issue as well. Myself included but with a more annoying quirk to it. Below are my posts from the last few days. Are you getting the error code, 0x80040212 at all?

i do get that error yes sometimes,

annoying though, as im free running around titanfall maps like a complete loon i like to record some of my sexyness, but after saying " xbox record that " 25 times to get it to actually record. when it finally does it doesnt save it.

another annoying thing i noticed aswell is the console constantly jumping back to UI, also not always responding to my voice, when sometimes i say it clear as day about 5 times and nothing, then i say it sometimes really quiet and not when i need it and
will work first time.

Microsoft please sort yo *** out pleassse

 

i to am having this issue there seems to be no fix at the moment. i've tried like 10 things to try to fix it i hope its not a hardware issue

 

Ok happened again tonight. Recorded 7 epic clips. Shows recorded in notifications but saying they are deleted or not there no more... one did save but was one I did earlier to see if its woking

Very un reliable. I see microsoft dont reply to many of these for some reason but anyone know what might be up with it?
