Xbox Record That/Game DVR not working with Titanfall

I've been playing Titanfall since I picked it up the day after launch. Since that time, I've only been able to record 2 or 3 game clips out of the dozen or more times I've had my Xbox One record.

When I use the "Xbox Record That" command, it will sometimes pop up verifying it heard me, and then it does nothing. No bleep bloop at the bottom of the screen saying "clip recorded" or anything. It does nothing. Immediately switch over to something like Project
Spark or any other game I have and it works perfectly. Then sometimes it does give me the bleep bloop saying it recorded the clip, yet nothing appears in my upload clips.

I decided to start trying to use the snapped Game DVR to see if that would work. It did not. Sometimes when I tell it to end the clip, it will also give the bleep bloop saying that it has recorded the clip, yet nothing appears in my notifications or my upload
clips. It has done this on all intervals of time. The 30 seconds, 45 seconds, 1 minute, 3 minutes, and the 5 minutes. Again, works perfectly fine on every other game I try it on. Recently, it has started giving me an error message when I try using the snapped
Game DVR to start new clips or record the last few minutes. It comes up saying "Sorry we couldn't do that. (0x8232300b)"

I have tried shutting down my Xbox One the way you're supposed to when something goes wrong. I've held the power button and even unplugged it for around 15 seconds and plugged it back in. That solves the problem, sometimes, for around 5 minutes and then
it starts again. I love using the clip recording on my Xbox One. If someone could please help me figure out why it's doing this, I'd be very grateful. As of right now, it's doing nothing but pissing me off. I did not pay $500 for something to constantly fail
and tell me it doesn't work.

DVR- Xbox One record that won't record error 0x82323012

When I first got my Xbox, the game DVR was flawless. Recording clips in PvZ, Bf4, and Titanfall. But lately the only time the DVR works is when im playing games offline, and it automatically records certain moments. But as soon as you go online or try to
manually record a clip in any form, it just wont respond. Yelling "xbox record that," the dialog box pops up, but does not record any amount of time, nor does the 5min-30sec manual record works. The Game DVR is more frustrating then anything!

 

Last Night's SLOOOOW Down/Lag

Just tried Titanfall with 'Allow Play To streaming' and 'Record gameplay with game dvr' unchecked plays smoother still laggy but playable.

 

Having this exact same problem. Nothing fixes it, not even a factory reset.

 

I had someone who saw this thread suggest uninstalling the game and reinstalling it as they were experiencing the same problem.

It seems to have worked for both of us. I've been able to record flawlessly for the last hour without issues. It seems to have fixed whatever the issue was.

 

I got I touch with @XboxSupport and they said some games do not support the dvr feature such as recording magic moments and achievements and Titanfall is one of those games.

 

I've been having this problem since the last dashboard update, the DVR doesn't work for any games, last week i thought it was fixed because i recorded a clip of TitanFall but again it has stopped working, has microsoft addresed this issue or even acknowledged
it yet?

 

@OurSoulXplosion, well whoever you spoke to has no clue what they are talking about. It works with any game from what I've seen/played so far. It seems to vary from console to console on whether it works. As far as I can tell if there's not enough resources
for the dvr to use then it won't work. So making sure the background process are closed helps a bit. But the dvr does infact work with Titanfall and every other game.

 

I too am all of a sudden getting this error. I was recording clips all the time in titanfall no problem untill today. Please reply if anyone has a solution. thanks

 

Same problem here. I'm in the Xbox One preview group and it seems to have happened since one of the last updates. Not sure if it's related. The notification comes up that it starts and finishes recording, but there is no clip. This is on Titanfall as well.

 

Mine stopped working too, the last recorded clip was 5 days ago. So frustrating.

 

Been commenting on other threads related to this issue. I don't own titanfall myself but I'm having the same thing on battlefield 4. Clips might record first and second time issuing 'record that' but usually after that nothing appears in the dvr menu, I
did have one clip record without sound one time as well, something others here have been reporting too. Before the April update it was working perfectly fine for me. I hear clearing the mac code (amongst other work a rounds) is one temporary fix, but with
varying success. Have not tried it myself yet.

 

same problem here to . cant upload for days . hard reset and mac reset only fixr it for a few times .

I was experiencing the same issue, regarding the DVR not recording clips when saying “Xbox, Record That” or using the Game DVR app in snap during game play, even though I was, on occasion, receiving notifications that the clips were recorded. Through trial
and error, I hypothesize that when exiting the game from multiplayer or campaign mode to the main start screen (Main Menu), a communication error occurs between the Xbox One and Microsoft’s Cloud service (all of the recorded clips are stored in the cloud).


The fix for this problem is as follows: Reboot the game.

Rebooting the game from scratch (meaning you will see the art work of theTitan with the pilot standing on the gun and the EA and Respawn Entertainment splash screens, before the Main Menu appears) will initiate a new connection to Microsoft’s Cloud service
and resolve the DVR issues.

Well it goes away and comes back, I can vouch for that. Would be nice if you could turn off the "magic moments", lmao. So many clips now that have to be sifted through, and god forbid you want to delete them, and cancel your weekend plans... and no, rebooting
does not help. The fact that the answer above was accepted, kind of speaks for the performance of the Xbox One. Maybe they just aren't getting feedback from anyone knowledgeable about what they are doing.
