Xbox Record clips going corrupt, 0x80040212 "Clip was deleted or never published"

Been getting this error for days, sometimes the "xbox record" comand works once or twice then it goes bad for the rest of the day, everytime I try to load the clip from the notifications it says "That one was deleted or never published" and if I go
to my clips on the Upload Studio it does not show those bad clips.



* Tried to power cycle, many times, did not fix;

* Tried to delete and re add the profile, did not fix;

* Tried to clear the mac adress and clear the BD disc cache, did not fix;

Ideas???

Yes. I have tried to record 10 clips since the recent updated and all of them give me the message. "Try a different game clip. That one was deleted or never published. (0x80040212). It's pretty lame...

I get the same thing. My Titanfall clips over the past few weeks wont record sound. (And no moron, we all know it doesn't record "Multiplayer chatter") There is literally just no sound what-so-ever. I also tried an experiment with Forza 5 just to see if

I think you console is bad. Call phone support to get a replacement. The number in the US and Canada is 1-800-4MY-XBOX.

 

My DVR is acting up as well, I'm pretty sure the April update is the cause since before it was working fine for me.

 

morenomdz you can fix this by going to;

settings > Network > Advanced settings > Alternate MAC address > Clear > Restart.

All future clips you record will not have the problem.

I am having the same problem for 2 days . none of my clips will get recorded , same error msg . it worked perfectly since DAY 1 . its the new update I think .

I tried that, before did not work

After talking with the Xboxsuport team on twiter they told me to remove the upload studio and reboot, I did that and so far it is recording, will try for another day see if everything goes good from now on.

 

I've done the mac address and it did fix it, however it didn't last long. I now have to reset my mac address again. When are they going to patch this? Is Microsoft talking about it at all?

 

Still no change. I can only get one clip in for ever time I reset my mac address. Does anyone know of a more permanent fix for this? It's driving me nuts.

 

Try to remove the UPLOAD STUDIO and power cycle, then try to record the clips without re installing the upload studio.

If all works try to reinstall the app. So far it is working for me!

 

My xbox is having error 0x80040212 too, some clips are saved and anothers clips arent saved, i wish xbox's next update to fix it.
