After I plug in the charger into the console then into my controller do I have to leave my controller on the whole time for the battery pack to charge or can I turn the controller off manually?

No I have the rechargeable battery with the USB-C cable so there’s no light I just want to know if the battery charged with the controller off

Hi,

as far as I know the controller nor the console have to be power on, as long the console is connected to power the battery charges. I have charged the rechargeable for the Xbox controllers that way in the past.
