Xbox reboots switching from YouTube to Games

On a launch Xbox one, if I switch from the YouTube app to a game, especially (Roblox or Fortnite), the Xbox will crash and hard reset.

I'm having the same issue switching between inputs

and having the Xbox reboot. I've noticed that switching to Xbox

my TV shows a "connecting......" in the upper corner. But when switching

to the satellite it doesn't show that and the DISH select menu appears.

 

XBox one S game turned off, then system rebooted itself?

I have a feeling that it's the power supply. They were so happy to get rid of the power brick that they *** this up. Mine reboots, comes out of sleep to a full reboot, and reboots when switching apps. So far I am far from impressed. I've been a Xbox guy
since the first one and I'm about to throw in the towel on this brand.

Yes, if we power down, power cable out, wait a bit.. boot up, still happens. The xbox is not running hot when it happens.

 

I have the same issue, I have the original Xbox One.

I have replicated this issue when switching from YouTube -> Destiny 2 and when switching from YouTube -> Destiny 1.

I did a 'reset console' with 'Reset and remove everything'. It did not resolve the issue.

 

Have the same problem. Went through it with xbox support. If I uninstall YouTube power down the console pull the power and restart everything after about 30 seconds or so the issue goes away. Support says the YouTube app is the problem and has to be fixed
on their end.

Tried replicating the issue using twitch and with youtube uninstalled can't get it to happen. Sucks but am going to remove YouTube from the console for a while and try again in a few weeks. Maybe using the browser to go to youtube.com will work in the meantime.

 

The issue is only with my 500gig "fat" Xbox, not my X1X. Perhaps youtube didn't test an update on all Xboxes.

 

this not is normal, try erase cache and try again, if the problem persist is your xbox one problem

 

I have the original unit with the power brick also. I think you are probably correct. Others I have seen with this issue appear to be the same.

 

Did a full factory reset and reinstalled all the games from disc. The problem occurs as soon as YouTube app is reinstalled and opened. This may only be impacting older model XB One units. May just be that the OS is either not putting the app to sleep properly
or not waking up properly after sleep. Does not happen with YouTube removed from the console.
