Xbox really need to have more appreciation for their players

Are you *** kidding me Xbox sent me a gift for being a day one member of xbox one and I found it to be a slap in the face by them so far the only good game they ever gave away for free in the entire time since they launched the xbox one is crimson dragons
and that saying something if xbox really appreciated their consumers they would give us a game we actually want to play and not some game that isn't even worth putting in the penny stores window I want xbox to reissue that free game and for it to be something
people actually want to play not something not even my own son would play because it has no point to it LIMBO is the dumbest game ever created they should get their money back for it it's pointless and as a gamer I feel like xbox just doesn't even care about
their players anymore

Early Halo: MCC buyers receive free month of Xbox Live Gold - but not me?

Hello forum,

I noticed that a lot of my friends received a message on xbox live saying as "appreciation for your continued support of
Halo: The Master Chief Collection." The notice adds that players don't need to do anything further to redeem their free month of Gold.

I'm just a little comfused as to why I didn't get one - I picked up the game on release day and unlocked achievements for it while connected to Live on 13 & 14 November, so I should qualify right? I'm more interested in the ODST add on later.

lack of appreciation... really... they are giving us more security but I guess that is lack of appreciation instead of whining just accept the fact that Microsoft will never let what happened to sony's customers happen to ours that simple!!!

 

You realize that they don't have to give you anything at all. LIMBO is a fantastic game and even won Indie game of the year when it was released. Their free games they do aren't just for supporting fans though. They like to support new developers by getting
their games out there for people to try. Most games that you may be wanting for free will usually sell a lot of copies anyways and have a fanbase behind the company producing it. They way that Xbox gives out these game helps new indie developers to get there
name out there and let players see if they like that style of game. Normally I would have just shrugged off a game like Volgarr that recently went free, but I downloaded it because the worst thing that can happen is you won't like the game but you didn't have
to pay for it so why complain. Volgarr was not a bad game, sure it is not in the style of a mainstream game now-a-days but making it free helped that developer and also helped some gamers find this developer. Also there is not a large amount of triple-a games
out for the One yet since it has only been out for a year. Believe it or not they have to make money as well and since they know that the triple-a titles that do release will sell a lot anyways they are not going to make them free, especially right after they
release. The point is you could just not get anything at all and the way it is set up right now is a win-win so stop being a child about it.

if I were you I'd try and get on a more intellectual level since you honestly think that LIMBO deserves the award it was given now that is funny and as far as xbox goes if they plan on giving people games for being a part of the day one experience then why
can't they give them games they want to play now games that will make a person hurl

 

Obviously you aren't very intellectual then because you probably couldn't get anywhere in LIMBO since it requires you to think. And you are wanting your money back be ause they gave you a free game? How dumb can you be? Go buy a PS4 then they have been giving
out indie games as well. I've never heard of people raging because they received a gift. Considerigg how stupid and inconsiderate you are about the situation you might as well just sell your Xbox and buy a PS4 so you can complain that they aren't giving you
the games you want instead of complaining here. Like I said earlier they didn't have to give you free games and if you bought a console expected them to just hand you games you want to play then you have issues.

 

I agree with you David I am a Day One member to, and my Xbox broke. The next day I get a code for Limbo. Xbox said this console is suppose to be the unbreakable console, well it is not. They also said the Titanic would not sink either.
