    Xbox really laggy sometimes when i boot up my Xbox one


    My Xbox sometimes works fine when I boot it up sometimes it does not. I always realize this when I try to boot up a game and the game freezes and my dashboard is stuck and I can't do anything on the dashboard. I have tried hard reboot by holding the Xbox
    button, unplug the power cord, clean the console for dust, clearing my cache, clearing my persistent storage and removing smooth transitions. It works for a little bit but then it always comes back. I just want a solution that will stop this problem permanently.
    I don't want to have to repair my console but if I get no answers that will work then I guess I'll have to repair it, which I don't want to do since I watch TV on the Xbox also.

    Im having the same exact problem! It makes the OS seem laggy! After im done streaming! And sometimes it shuts off! I end up having to unplug the xbox, for it to work correctly again! It used to be fine! But with the update it really messed it up!

    I haven't touched my 360 since I got it really...The only times it's been turned on is when my dog sniffed the on button and it booted up. I love the xbox one.

    My One X just did the same thing, however it does not boot properly now either. The 4k chip animation and Xbox logo is laggy. Then the audio plays out of sync and it is stuck on the Xbox One logo....

    It's pretty weird. If a full shutdown does not resolve, try resetting the console.

    Reset the console to factory defaults, you won't lose anything but you will need to log in with your account again. Email and password are required.

    Follow this path and select reset keeping games and app.

    In 5 to 10 minutes you will finish reconfiguring your console

    To reset the console>

    Settings> System> Console Info> Reset Console

    ***Do not reset your console without having your account email and password.***

    When you click the button to turn on your laptop does the console turn on together or does the console only turn on when you get to your laptop's login/home screen?

    Go to the console power settings and select ''full shutdown'' and test if the console will power on with your laptop.
