Xbox randomly shut down and will not turn on

The Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One X and Xbox One S have an internal power supply that works worldwide. If your console won't turn on, it's possible it just needs a power reset. Many times, power problems occur due to the power reset right after a power surge.

To reset the internal power supply, follow these steps:

Disconnect the console's power cord.
Wait 10 seconds.
Plug the cable back into the console and press the Xbox\uE3E3 button on the front of the console.
If the console turns on, the internal power reset worked.

Follow this step if the issue happens again.

Make sure the outlet you use works with other devices.
Make sure the power cord is properly plugged into the wall outlet and into the console.
Make sure you are using the power cable that came with your console and that it is the correct cable for your region.

Any other suggestions, it just seems to randomly freeze up and shut down. Doesn’t even turn off controller or headset just hard crashes.

I see, well I'm not sure what else could be suggested, hopefully Mr Darcy can shed some more light on this.

papercut73, the console was originally bought in the US and it is a US system so I suppose that's why Microsoft have said to send it to a US repair center. My best guess is that it's because a US system is a different region to an Indian system.
