Xbox randomly ejects by itself

It just started doing this about a week ago. It's ejected during a game once or twice, but it seems to really do it when the console is off. Xbox will start to ding alot then randomly turns on to eject the disc inside it(usually ejects the disc and immediatly
sucks it back up and plays it). I've hard reset the console, unplugged it for a night(which actually seems to semi-fix the problem the next day), and dusted it off but it still keeps doing this. I don't want to send it in to MS as they'll just send it back
if it doesn't do it while they're "repairing" it(and it probably won't since unplugging it is a temp fix).

Is there anyway to disable the eject button? Maybe put a butt-load of tape or something on it disable the touch sensor : /

I have sort of the same problem but mine is that the console turns on by itself randomly and my eject button doesnt work but sometimes it does.

OMG mine does that too... it *** me off so bad. please if you find a way to fix this let me know!

Please call Xbox and (I know you don't want to!) But you might need to send your xbox to them for repairs and if your xbox is still in warrenty it won't cost you a thing.

Mine started doing that ever since the last preview update I got, but ever since I quit the preview program It stopped.
