Xbox Quality is lacking...Severley

I've been with Xbox for years, I love the console and I love the community; however, at this point I do not even know the point in staying with Microsoft. In my time with Xbox's I've gone through multiple consoles. My first Xbox was the 360, the day I bought
one I went through five because each would get the red ring shortly after switching the console on. Luckily Gamestop was fully aware of the red ring problem and allowed me to return each that broke down. After Finally getting one that worked I was able to
play on this console for two more years until finally it just bricked. I figured it was fine and it gave me an excuse to get the elite....then that one bricked about a year later. I was lucky enough to have a friend who fixed bricked consoles at that time
and he did it for a much lower cost than what was offered. This was the last time the 360 bricked for me; however this wasn't the only problems I had with the 360. In all this time I went through at least 8 controllers. Three I will admit were from my own
negligence (dogs and stepping on them) but the others just deteriorated quickly. Buttons would stick, the analog sticks would ghost, and some would just not turn back on and these had no visible damage. Through this time I saw just how bad Xbox products were
and when the Playstation 4 was announced I was certain I was going to get that.

It turned out the community I played with all decided to get the xbox one, so I decided I would wait a year to see any issues with the xbox one on release. A little over a year after the xbox one was released I bought one and right off the bat the mic did
not work. It was ok because I did not necessarily like the generic xbox microphones, so I bought a new, xbox brand, headset ($50). It stopped working with no visible damage a week later. I was able to return it for a new set which did the same thing except
a little over a month later. This process kept repeating over and over. Each time the mic had no visible damage. Then the Xbox One Bricked. I got this Xbox One when I started college so it's had limited use. I sent in my xbox to be fixed and after 3 weeks
of waiting for it to be fixed I got it back still broken, so I had to send it in again and wait again. When I got it back another mic just stopped shortly after, so I got another one...reluctantly. Now this one has stopped working with no visible damage and
a little over 20 uses. At this point I'm tired of it. The amount of money I've sank into trying to continue using an Xbox I could have sank into a PS4 and have confidence it will work. Please give me a reason to stay with xbox.

What rock are you living under? Apparently nobody told you quality trumps quantity.

 

360 Controller on Xbox One?

Although I seriously doubt it's possible, I'll ask anyway. Is there any way (including unofficial mods) to use a 360 controller with the Xbox One? I like the new controller layout and ergo; I like the vibration from the triggers in Forza 5, but it's quality
is sorely lacking compared to the 360 controller.
