My xbox gift card will not work it says it is not yet active

Hi there. Sounds like a generic error message. Could you check your xbox account is adult with a birthdate over the age of 18. This has prevented people in the past and given the same error.

The best way to do this is have an adult account setup for yourself, then go into your settings to add a family account, this will allow you to add restrictions including access to buying from the store which will require permission from you to proceed.

I bought the battlefield 1 Revolution game and used the code to download the game on my old xbox, but I can't download the game on my new xbox, I tried to download the game again through the Microsoft
Store but the game can't because game is not marked as purchased.
