    Xbox Pulling up Menu Repeatedly


    My xbox has been having an issue lately where it will randomly and constantly pull up the sidebar menu and start recording clips rapidly. I can just be sitting on a menu and itll start like im mashing buttons. I will unplug my controller and it continues
    until i turn off the console. Ive hard reset it a thousand times and unplugged my external harddrive per someones suggestion which seemed to solve the issue temporairily. But it has continued now and i have no idea what the problem is.

    Hello Wizard,

    We understand that you're experiencing an issue consisting of a the console bringing up the menu and beginning to randomly record on its own.

    We recommend trying a power cycle
    of the console.

    If the problem persists, try doing a
    soft factory reset of the console,
    reset and keep games and apps to help reset the operating system.

    Please note before doing this troubleshooting step, make sure to know your email and passwords for your Xbox profiles.

    Try this out first and let us know the results.

    The menu button on the xbox one media remote does not work in the blu ray app. It will not pull up the blu ray dvd menu. The menu button on the gaming remote will pull up the blu ray menu. Can you notify me when this is resolved. The menu button does work
    every where else except in the blu ray app.

    Hello!

    Not a fix, but a workaround I've found is: 1. Opening the Xbox menu

    2. Pressing start button on Starfield to pull up mini-menu (Game card, add to group, etc.)

    3. Click give feedback and wait for it to start loading

    4. Back out by pressing B repeatedly

    This usually will bring you back to starfield save/settings menu as if you paused without having to close the game or restart your cloud gaming session. Like I said, not a fix but definitely better than having to fully reload the game and possibly get stuck in the cloud queue 🥴

    Click on player in the lobby menu and pull up the player menu and select report player for emblem...<<<<do this with in the black ops 2 lobby menu not the xbox menu
