xbox profile transfer "loophole"

Login to the microsoft.com ,. Login With the user account associated with your xbox .

go the account setting in the microsoft profile. update the account info/ add a new email.

and then verify the email. by login at whatever email. you have to use/ after you confirm the link.

go back to microsoft login . make your confirmed email the primary .. erase the other one that was the main. add your cell phone on the account for future help with logins. or another source for a two step verifiication... it is a option. u must login dekstop
/laptop perferably, it will not matter what address at dot com you have for email. just make it a primary as long as your credentionals of age expectaion is 18 as adult account holder. you may need to change birthday. update the profile.

The xbox profile is gmail, when I start the xbox I can read the address and I am sure of the domain

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are seeking to completely take over an account that you have been using for a few years.

In short, "No".

You mentioned that the account was made with Gmail email, but the way you described it, it appears that it was made using a Microsoft domain [Hotmail, MSN, Outlook, etc.]

If this is truly the case, then removing anything Microsoft related from the account, such as the email would ultimately place it into Limbo and you would be unable to access the services associated with that email [in other words, you remove the "Outlook"
email from the account and you will no longer be able to have access to that email].

You could simply remove the email that is not part of the Microsoft domain and add an

new alias to personalize this a bit, along with updating
Your info, but keep in mind that a Microsoft account is an amalgamation of different services [Windows, Office, Xbox, Outlook, Skype, Bing, etc.] and thus there is no real way for you to transfer just one service to another account.

If this is the case, then you should be able to use your preferred email on the account as the primary alias.

Again, keep in mind that this will simply change how you log into the account, and your sibling will have to sign into this account using either your alias or a secondary one in order to use any Microsoft services he uses on your account. There is no way
for you to transfer those services to another account.
