Xbox profile swap

Ok, so I have been on chat with support about this for 1 hour and still no progress.

So a while back I set up my 8 yr up on my Microsoft account so that he can play Xbox 360. What I didn't know is that I was setting him a Xbox Gamertag under my name. So above his tag his my name, not his.

Now that I have a Xbox I want to set up me a Gamertag using my account. Is there a way for me to set up my Gamer tag with my name and have my son keep ALL achievements. I know I can't move his Gamertag to a new account but is there a way for me to make his
profile the Child's profile as it should?

I tried adding a new email address but that only caused me to use the new email address to sign in to my Microsoft account.

So I'm now bouncing between two hard drives...

I have a 4gb xbox (profile stays on that) and swap between a 250gb and a 320gb, it's great, loads of installed games

downloaded to wrong profile

Hi, my son downloaded a game to his profile on xbox one instead of my profile on the same console. i can't get to play the game unless im on his profile . can i swap the ownership or can i make shared on the console

for all to play ?

I think I understand the issue correctly, but please correct me if I misread. If you would like to have a separate Gamertag aside from the one your son is playing on, you may need to create a new Xbox Live profile with a different email address. If you would
like your son to keep his progress and achievements, a new email for yourself will be the best solution. Additionally, the account account your son is playing on will not be able to be moved into a child account as the birthdate that was set up originally
cannot be changed.

You can try the following:

Sign in with your account on your Xbox 360 console. Then go to the far right to the settings hub. There go to the Account tile in the lower left, and there under "Your Information" and "Security Info" should be the option to change the Microsoft Account
of your Gamertag.

There you can move your Gamertag with Gold membership and purchases to a new Microsoft Account email.

Hey Ron94,

You can actually swap your sticks via the Xbox Accessories App. Do keep in mind though, this will apply to all actions. When playing another game you will have to swap back to another "Profile" if you wish. On that note, you can create various profiles for
each game you play as well.

I do think you will have to try the suggestion of trying the Xbox on another router/ISP and vice-versa including profile testing/swapping
