XBox profile receiving invites sent to another account

As noted in the title I am having problems with invites being sent to my account that have been sent to my brothers account, I have no idea on why this is happening as the only thing the accounts have in common is that they are on the same XBox, It also
displays what the other account is doing as my status on websites like Discord. If anyone has any idea how to fix it I would really appreciate hearing it as I have not found anything anywhere else on the internet pertaining to this issue. (If it matters this
has been going on for over 6 months now, and if this should go under a different catagory please let me know)

What do you mean connected? The only contact the accounts have had is being signed in on the same XBox.

Try to remove it then sign back in

Ok I will try that once I get home, Thank you, I’ll update it if anything changes

You could try removing your account from the console and signing back in, and/or try removing his and signing it back in. If you still get the notifications, then check to see if they might be intended for you.

Yes I have, the account hasn’t been signed into that XBox for a couple months now, and I am also reciving the invite notifications thru the xbox app
