Xbox Profile Randomly Vanished?

I was in the middle of playing a game of NHL 14 then my xbox lost connection so I restarted my xbox and to my surprise my account completely vanished off my xbox and then when i try to download my profile it says Sorry, Xbox Live Profiles can't be downlaoded
right now. Try again later.

What the hell is going on

I almost wonder if IGN has workers randomly make profiles that do what they can to make Xbox look lame.

Why on earth would any regular person come here make a profile and ask this question.....A Pro-Sony company like IGN on their payroll, slowly makes "Help Me, Xbox Errors, etc." trying to veer people away.

That's probably it.

 

Most likely it could be a corrupt profile right now.

do these instructions here, go into settings>system>storage>select hard drive> hit gamer profiles> select corrupt profile> delete profile only

once done with that go back to hard drive and select Y on your controller and clear the cache 3x and then try and download profile.

 

Note: please turn console off and then turn it back on.

 

Download your profile to your console again by using your email and password.

This is basically what the others have proposed, but to be sure nothing in cache can cause issues try these steps:

1. Delete your profile from the console, be sure to delete only the profile, to do so check this link:

support.xbox.com/.../profile-move-delete

2. Clear the console cache, see this link for the how to:
support.xbox.com/.../clear-system-cache

3. Turn the console off.

4. Turn the console on.

5. Clear the console cache one more time

6. Redownload your profile.(See the same link as 2.) you might have to enter the security verification afterwards and all should be fine again.
