Xbox profile pic issues

Are you trying to change the profile picture using the Xbox mobile app, right?

If yes, this can be a bit dumb but please take an screenshot of the desired picture (Crop it after that if necessary)
Then use that screenshot instead of the original picture and check how it goes

I’m having a problem too with changing my profile picture because it won’t let me. There’s no violence or no nothing. I need some lil advice🥲

You can change your profile pic as long as it is a default option in the profile pic list. You just can't create a custom profile pic because they need to be approved before the change takes place. While there is an increase in demand on other issues,
they are disabling the custom gamer pic ability temporarily to handle those issues.

I'm having the same issue. I have Onedrive but it does not show up in the Xbox storage for pic uploading anymore. I really want to change my profile pic, if I can't use it what's the use in paying for it?

Any custom profile pic need to be approved by the Xbox live enforcement team. So if the don't approve the pic, will not be applied to your profile
