Xbox profile issue

I have an Xbox 360 profile which I wanted to connect to Xbox live but I can't due to my Microsoft email being used for a kind of forced Xbox account that's only used on my PC (i don't even play any games using said account) and I wanted to delete it so I can link the email to my Xbox 360 profile and all but the issue is that I don't know how to do this and if I can even do it. I'm also scared of losing my Minecraft java account after the Mojang -> Microsoft migration if I do it and I don't know if it'll still be affected or not. Any tips???
(the account I want to get rid of is the one I'm using to write this question, kinda ironic)

log into the xbox 360 with the microsoft account that you use on pc, all microsoft accounts are also xbox accounts now, has been this way since 2011 i think.

you cannot remove an xbox account from a microsoft account as they are one in the same.

Hello Beriroru, at the time of the 360 there was this difference of the profile of the 360, today this no longer happens.

If you have a Microsoft account, that account will be used to sign in to your console, Xbox website, Xbox App, and all games are linked to that account.

So if you already use this email for this it's already your Xbox account with a linked Gamertag that can no longer be unlinked from the email because they've become one.

The rep system is flawed and broken. Has been this way for at least a couple of years.

There is no real fix to it.

Your friends are right when they say not to worry about it.

I'm a little OCD too, so I handle it by being an achievement addict. Look at my score <---, that's just shy of two years of gaming only.

As for the rep system, it needs to be taken out completely.

Normally, when you get this message, it is because you do not have the gold subscription. But if you already have it, please try to delete your profile from the console, then redownload it.

Also, you might need to check your online privacy settings following the steps mentioned here. Click on the "Xbox 360 Online Safety" tab and make sure to allow the first 2 "Accept Friend Requests" and "Online Gameplay".
