Xbox Profile is Not Switching from a Child Account to an Adult Account

You can't check your birthdate lol

Your birthday on your ms account has no bearing or affect on your xbox live account even if you change it or use another email

Once set the date of birth is set in stone

You wkll have to wait till you are actually 18

And then promote your account under manage my account

No sooner or later

If you have not done so as of yet please sign out of your account, and once you sign back in any changes should take effect

Did this account graduate naturally from a child account to an adult account or was there a birthday change attempt? You can change the birthdate to the Microsoft account but it will not change the birthdate that was entered originally to the Xbox profile.

In other words, a child account will remain a child account until it graduates naturally to an adult account. No way around it.

If you are an adult but have the wrong birth date on the account, you need to change the account information as if you were a child.

Sign in to your Microsoft account, as if you were a child

Select Learn more about parent/guardian consent at the bottom of the information prompt.

On the next screen, click Update account information .

If prompted, enter your name and click Update .

Next, you will see the screen to update your date of birth.
