XBOX PRIVACY BUG

I can not get into clubs, or even in some cases play online in my account, the message appears that my privacy settings do not require, however I have already enabled the privacy settings ...

Hey guys , I have a problem.

My privacy settings is custom and I have blocked my achievements and games so that my friends can't find what my recently played game is while I'm appearing offline. Peer pressure , you know. It was fine and all good with the new xbox experience during the
launch of gears of war 2 , but until the next dashboard update with the facebook and twitter integration. Now since this dasboard update and the all new metro interface dashboard update a year or so back , my friends or anyone on LIVE can't see my profile
( motto, personal picture, name, bio, and location ). This is quite interesting because I have set my profile viewing to public since I created it.



I heard there's a 2013 dashboard update in the works to be released this fall , to coincide with the release of the Xbox One and both these systems to look similar with the Windows 8 Metro interface as home screens. I hope you guys notice this and fix it
by then.

I'm sorry to hear you're having issues getting your profile privacy settings to reflect properly. Let's see if we can help get things sorted for you.

The first thing I suggest would be redownloading your profile. To do that:

• Delete your profile ONLY (do NOT delete profile and items; here's a guide:
  support.xbox.com/.../profile-move-delete).
• Clear your system cache (use this guide:
  support.xbox.com/.../clear-system-cache).
• Restart your console.
• Download your profile (use the first guide again).

Once that finishes, check and see if your privacy settings are still keeping your friends from being able to see your profile.
