Xbox preview program update

A have registered my console for the preview program a am just wondering will a get an update for it today

New dashboard question

so I have two Xbox ones in my house, mine and my sons
I am in the preview program only and my son is not in any programs
He turned his Xbox on today to see an update which was strange since we both have instant on
He now has the new dashboard and I'm on the original one
How did his Xbox one get update when he isn't in any preview programs? And why is making be not update?

When you mean registered do you mean you got invited?

Being invited doesnt mwan you will get accepted ironically there is no more acceptance for awhile as the program is full.

Now if you mean you just downloaded the app and applied for the new xbox one experience

You are going to be waiting for weeks read the announcement area
