Xbox preview program deleted all my games.

Went to my home screen then my Xbox froze. Did a hard reset, went into my games all of my games on my external hard drive were deleted. There were some games that

were blacked out, but still need to be restalled onto the system. Also, unplugged my external from my xbox, and reconnected it still nothing. Did contact technical support they said to contact you guys on here to find a work around also that the one lady
I spoke with on the phone said she was hearing a lot about this problem with the xbox preview dashboard app. Other than reinstalling all of my games, and hoping that my save files are there. What do you suggest that I do?

I have deleted my xbox preview program invite.

I get 10 messages a day asking for me to invite them to the preview program. I'm sick of these messages popping up. Can you please fully delete this thread for me?

You'll want to post this, and everything else preview related in the preview forums (forums.xbox.com/.../default.aspx) to ensure that the proper team sees your post and can help you out. Also, make sure you look at the list of known issues to see if there
is a workaround.

If you haven't already, be sure to report any issues via the preview app on your console, so that all relevant data gets reported to Microsoft.

Also, when it comes to your save game files, they are all backed up in the cloud, so as long as you were connected to Live when you last played, everything should be fine.

 

In order to fix this problem I first signed out of my profile then held down my xbox button on my console for 30 seconds, and then unplugged my console from the wall. Next I held down the console again for another 30 seconds even with the console being unplugged
to clear the cache. Plugged my console back in then turned it on. All of my games showed back up in my games section on my xbox, and everything was fine.
