Xbox Preview Membership

I am getting pops up when i go to the Preview Program when logging in my account to the console. ( sorry this console has already been registered to a different account) I am part of the Preview Program. Original console
registered was 360. i Got this Xbox one from a Family Member and it won't allow me to register my account on the Preview Program.

Since this is a public forum, private details like email addresses are not available and will be blocked when posting so everything has to go through this form. As for the preview, the Xbox 360 preview and the Xbox One preview are 2 entirely different programs
and do not carry over from one another.

In order to get access to the Xbox One preview you'll need to be invited by a friend who's already in it, but an invite doesn't guarantee access especially since the acceptance rate and available places has been severely bottlenecked. The chances to get
in now are very slim since there's a long waiting list.

 

Yes but I cant get on to the preview program app i load the app it says sorry, this console has already been registered to a different account.

 

Then your console has been enrolled into the preview program, does anyone else have access to your console ? They might have done it.

It sounds like the previous owner of your console was in the preview program, so your console is registered to the program under their account. You are unable to to access the Preview app because your account is not registered in the program. As FearedNightmare
said, you have to be invited by a friend and accepted to the preview program; however, at this point the program is near capacity, and they are not accepting members very quickly. Because the console is registered, it should still receive preview updates,
but you will have no ability to report issues or opt out, since it is the other account that is in the program. Personally, I would do a factory reset of the console so that you can have full control of it. You can also have your family member log in to their
account and opt out of the program through the app using their account. Keep in mind that a factory reset will cause you to have to reinstall your games and apps, but your save games should be safe in the cloud, as long as you were connected to Live last time
you played.
