Xbox preview dashboard not working as intended.

I had recently received a small update a few days ago for my console and have now been unable to use the console. I have power cycled the console in the hope of it fixing the issue but I am still facing the same issue.

The problem begins once the console powers on from "always on" (I can't change the settings before anyone says). The console takes a while to load up the dashboard, fails to sign me in properly and then the new dash tab on the left loads up with no option
to move up or down as everything is greyed out besides notifications and settings. By going to settings, it just sits with the settings cog image indefinitely until you get an error message (0x80070102). If you try to close the home dashboard it removes the
ability to scroll at all. After a while, the home still appears on the side but now you can scroll on the dashboard, albeit very limited. I try scrolling to the "connect to xbox live" icon and click it, but nothing. Has anyone got any suggestions, fixes or
something? I am unable to use my console at this point. I've tried resetting it about 5 times and it's still the same result.

Xbox preview dashboard not working.

Yes I know this, the games previously downloaded are still playable, however the place I went into to download all of these games has now completely disappeared! Yes the games with gold! It is telling me to Upgrade my Xbox live to gold, even though I have
gold and can still play online and join parties. Thank you for your reply

Currently, only users that are in the Insider program should be getting updates. I've confirmed you're in it and got you access to the Insider Forums for further assistance (link at the bottom of my post).

However, I wanted to give you a step to factory reset your console to see if you can get into settings after. This will avoid you needing to use the offline system update, which likely wouldn't help you anyway since you are currently on a newer build of
the operating system. Our
Update Solutions support page has the steps to force the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter. You will want to follow these steps to get to the page that I am talking about:

Step 1, select I NEED TO UPDATE MY CONSOLE OFFLINE

Step 2, select ORIGINAL XBOX ONE

Once you bring that up, select Reset this Xbox and follow the steps there. You should be able to keep your games & apps for this. If you have any other concerns, the Insider team will definitely be the best to get you fully sorted out. Thanks

Check your account e-mail and see if you received a notice about your Gold subscription cancellation. You can also check your
commerce.microsoft.com page to see if maybe there is an outstanding action against your account that needs to be resolved before the subscription can resume. From here you can also click on the Services
& Subscriptions tab to see what your Xbox Live Gold "Expires On" date is.

The Quests tab is just to step you through functionality and is not the actual functionality, You should be able to go to your My Games & Apps section and see your available 360 games for backward compatibility. In regards to the deals with gold, I'm assuming
you are talking the Games with Gold games that you downloaded? If so, per the
Games with Gold promotion details (at the bottom):

"Free Games Offer: For paid Gold members only. On Xbox One, active Gold membership required to play free games you’ve redeemed."

Since you don't currently have a Gold subscription you lose access to those games. Hope this helps.
