Xbox Preview Dashboard app

Hi there,

A while back, I received an invite to the preview program and gained access to download the preview dashboard app.

I didn't actually try to download it until recently, but now I find that while I can access the store page for the app, every time I try to download it, I just get a "Something went wrong" error.

I also don't have access to the preview forum, so apologies if this is in the wrong place.

There's currently a Controller Survey on the Xbox Preview Dashboard app on the console, controller disconnects are in the list.

Best make the most of the survey while available.

 

Unregister new Xbox preview

You will need to first post and the preview forums.

Next you need to download the preview dashboard app which was sent to all of us via an Xbox message....use this app to remove the console from the preview program.

If you never downloaded the preview dashboard app you will also need to create one post not to asking for a new token to download the preview dashboard app and then use that app to remove the console from the preview program.

I managed to get this resolved and posted the solution in another thread, so I'll just copy it here for you:

So it turns out this was related to security settings on the console itself.

I had my Xbox set to require a PIN when purchasing things on the store, but the purchase was failing despite my having logged in and entered the PIN.

I've now set my sign in settings back to "Make it fast, make it magic" and was able to download the preview dashboard app without a problem.

 

Hey my friend added me to the preview program and I downloaded the app and the app said that this console is registered to another account. In my ready to install hectic hd and battle block theatre are there but I can't use the Xbox Preview Dashboard app
and I wanted to add some friends of my own but I can't.

I've got the Xbox preview dashboard app but I can't use it because I've never got a message from Xbox live and I've been invited from three different people

 

Does it say enroll pending?

Then you dont need a msg you are kust waiting for the next update wave

Everything is done in waves because alot of people are trying to get in
