Xbox powers off unexpectedl

hi all. Having a problem with my Xbox one turning itself off during gameplay. Really annoying.

Tried all sorts with no success.

1)auto power off is not activated

2)vacuumed all the air vents in case it was overheating

3)tried resetting power supply as described on the help page

4)cleared the cache

Only seems to happen when actually playing a game, never happens watching Netflix or I player. Can leave Xbox on for days without an issue.

anyone else had the same problem?

Issue With directv

Since the April update when my Xbox One powers on my Directv does not power on. Same thing when it powers off the directv stay on. Looked in the power setting and for some reason it is set to do nothing when the xbox powers on and off and there is NO
way to change to turn on when xbox powers on send section or off in the when xbox powers off send section! How can I get this option back? Thanks for any assistance.

 

XBox Powers Off Unexpectedly

I have a Xbox One Elite. When I am playing a game, any game, about thirty minutes into it, the console and power supply shut off. To reset the system I have to unplug the power supply, wait a few seconds, then plug it back in and power everything back up.
I do not have this issue when streaming video like Netflix or watching TV through my cable box, just when playing games. The power supply had a pretty good amount of dust in and around the ventilation ports, I cleaned it out with air duster and am still having
the same issue. I am thinking this might be an issue with the power supply but would like to see what folks are saying on here. Additionally, I have done the chat thing with Xbox support and it didn't really help much, they just copy and pasted from the trouble
shooting guide, which I had already done. Thank you

 

It may be an issue with your console. create a repair order in the support part of the xbox.com page.

 

my console has exactly the same issue.
