    xBox PowerA not working after firmware update?


    Apologies if this isn't the right sub but hopefully someone can help me out.

    I've been using a PowerA Fusion wired controller for probably 5-6 months with no issues. Yesterday I updated the firmware on my controller and it seemed to corrupt something inside.

    Now when I power on the xBox, the controller scrolls down without being touched, none of the LEDs light up, and none of the other buttons have any response when pressed.

    I tried re-doing the update but ended up with the same results. Is there any known fix for something like this, or am I SOL? I don't really have the extra $$$ to fork out on a controller so I'm hoping for a fix.

    I have a powera controller also and experienced the same issues. U will need to plug it into a PC then go to powera website to update the firmware and calibrate it. Here's the link

    Do you know the latest firmware version for the PowerA Enhanced Wired Controller on the Xbox One console? I think that they updated a while ago and i am not sure whether i have the right version. My firmware is version 1.1.279.2 on console.

    I have the PowerA Spectra Infinity and I'm also having the same issue. This controller has worked fine for me on Edge Canary, but now all of a sudden it is not being recognised by that browser or even regular Edge, The controller works on my PC, including on Chrome and the Gamepass app, but none of these have the clarity boost mode, so I'm not happy with sticking with those choices.

    I have looked deep within the PowerA website and there is no mention of these controllers needing firmware updates at all.

    After downloading the firmware update, it should work after you sync it to your Xbox 360.
