Xbox power supply

So my xbox one got unplugged during game play today (it was a new set up and still needed to be re positioned) and now my xbox won't turn on at all. I tried the standard resets for power surges and defective power bricks, but it only got unplugged so I don't
understand why it would need to be replaced for just being unplugged. Either way those fixes don't work, and I've left it unplugged for longer than a few minutes and plugged it back in and still nothing. Not sure what the next step is and would appreciate
some advice.

Again I've checked the regular fixes and I don't understand why it would need to be replaced if it just got unplugged.

Why does my Power Brick stay on?

yea its because the xbox is never truly off.

On a pc, you have the system power button and the power supply power button. You can turn the computer off and on with the power button, but the system is still juiced unless you turn off the switch in the back, with the power supply button

Same goes for the xbox except the power supply (brick) doesnt have a button

Sometimes thing just break. If it is a new purchase take it back for an exchange. If you can't exchange it contact support for a possible repair. Contact Us | Xbox Support

If it got disconnected abruptly, there are a variety of things that could have happened and caused this issue. It might be that it was doing some internal operation that required for it to be receiving full power at the time, kind of how a person is not
supposed to touch the console when it's updating.

However, you already tried the steps on the
our support page, then yeah, it would need to be fixed by support.

You can always attempt to create a repair order via
device support online if that's the case, or
contact support so that they can outline your options.

PSUs are designed to be used only in the regions where they are sold.

Don't try to use an Xbox 360 power supply that was built for a region that has different power requirements.

Don't use an unlicensed accessory, such as a non-Microsoft replacement power supply or any accessory that plugs in between the Xbox 360 console and the power supply.

Don't use the Xbox 360 external power supply outside the country where the power supply was sold. If you use the power supply in a different country, the power supply or your Xbox 360 console may be damaged, and the warranty may be invalidated.
