xbox power apdaptor issue

i have bought an xbox from us and it came with a 110v adaptor and i live in africa egypt and we have 220v power outlet i despiratley need help it was a dream for me to buy one and now i have it i cant make it play

another question: if i buy an original xbox one 220v ac adaptor from where i live,would it work ,would it fixes the problem?

Hey there, sounds like you might be using a surge protector, the console was designed to be plugged directly into the wall as it has a surge protector built into the power supply. We have some info on the

Xbox One power supply that can help with this issue, we would recommend plugging the console directly into the wall, then let us know if the behavior continues. However, if you do not wish to do this, unplugging the console when you are done using it won't
hurt the console any, just make sure you shut it down completely and are not using instant on power mode with the console as this will not allow the console to fully turn off.

So my Xbox one tends to activate on its own out of thin air. I used to be annoyed, as it would drain unnecessary power at times, but I got used to it and began just unplugging the whole thing when not using it. Over time I began wondering if always unplugging
it would somehow damage the hardware; I frankly don’t believe the Xbox one was meant to be constantly plugged in and out. I’m just curious as to if this habit will affect my console at all in any way (note that I have a 2 tb external hard drive plugged into
it as well). My friends always tell me to get a new power brick, but I’m just concerned with constantly plugging it in and out at the moment.
