Xbox power adapter - moving abroad query

Hi, I will be moving from the UK to Spain in the near future and I hope to bring my Xbox One S with me. However, would the Spanish power adapter work in the UK Xbox? Does anyone have any personal experience or know for certain that this either will or won't
work? I would hate to have to buy a whole new console just because of this. I look forward to hearing some replies!

Hi

Can anyone help me with the following...

I am planning to work in QATAR for 2 years starting in September. (I will still be travelling back and forth to the UK every couple of months)

As the region sold in QATAR is PAL I plan to take me xbox with me.

I am keeping my UK bank account ( associated with my xbox account ) open.

Can I simply recover my account in QATAR and play as normal?

Look at the back of the Xbox One S, were you plug it in, you need to look for the voltage, if it states :-

if it shows 100-240 then you are good. if not check the voltage they use in Spain. and see if it is the same.

Europe uses 220v power, that is what the xbox you purchased is used for. There is a big reason why an adapter wont make the power magically jump up to 220 from 110. You can run your own line from the breaker box and create your own 220 outlet, I did that
when I moved back from Germany.

Next time you make a large purchase like this abroad you need to check the actual specs on it. Most computers have a switch to go from 220-110 but that is one of the rare types of electronics with that feature.

I have read threads from people in Qatar who have xbox live, despite it not being on the list. I will still have a uk account so my question is can I continue to use xbox live from my UK account abroad
