Xbox port area burned

Hello, i Have this really weird issue with my Xbox . Usually when my Xbox is turned off there Would be these weird electrical buzzz sounds . When I’m playing I have my Xbox overheating a lot . I’ve had my Xbox one x for about 3 years and now it seems that I have this burning smell . I unplugged the cord and the cord touched my finger and I don’t know if it was a burn or a electrical shot . When I saw the port area where you are meant to plug in the power cable, the plastic surround it was close to melted and the inside where the 2 metal poles are , one of the poles were burnt and the inside plastic too . Somehow, my Xbox still is turning on but now I’m scared if it will break or get destroyed . Please tell me what to do and what the cause is . I really loved my Xbox .

Have an electrician check your outlets

And move the xbox to another circuit till it's resolved

Brownouts and surges aren't good for electronics

If you are on a powrr bar don't

Plug it directly into the wall

You have arcing or worse inside your power supply. Unplug the console and do not use it, it’s a fire hazard. You need to send it in for repair or replace it

as whedon said, do not use until repaired or replaced, risk of electric shock or fire is very high, it would be dangerous to continue using it.

do not listen to anyone stating to carry on using or plug in to another outlet, following that advice will lead to issues in a big way.

Thank you ! I use. Power block to connect all the cables and made sure to close it . I will wait for a bit till I can access a electrician in my area , till then my Xbox will have a long rest . Thank you once again !
