    I would like clarification as to why my 10 yr old's gamer tag had a 24 hr communication ban. I am with him roughly 95% of the time when he is on and I am familiar with the people he comes in contact with when playing. I hear most conversations and I am curious
    as to how you have come to this decision considering that i have had him block and unfriend certain players because they were picking on a child. I want to know what my son said that would constitute this action.

    Owen, although I'm sure there will be a fair share of those who "may be trying to worm their way out of something," there are still many good people who genuinely don't understand how it works or who believe that it doesn't work at all - this thread was
    created for those people; not the former. Besides, if someone comes here trying to manipulate their way out of something, how exactly are they going to do that (please don't answer that question)? I have no power or authority over enforcement so they're not
    going to accomplish much by coming here.

    because the enforcement team is in place to make online gaming un enjoyable, and actually go against what live is supposed to be. Even if you go to that site you will not get an answer you want they womy give you the reason they give you a spew of how you
    sent something bad or offensive, which if a player talks down to you calls you any and every word in the book and you tellcan hI'm to shut the front door back he can report you and you will be blocked it's a horrible system that punish good players and also
    punishes the bad but it shouldn't punish good players with guilty till proven innocent mentality

    If someone harasses you just report them or block those persons from further abuse. Retaliating counts as harassment and is object to enforcement acts.

    BTW, defending ones self is not an excuse for breaking the code of conduct. You should simply report/block and move on.
