    Xbox plays Blu Ray when I insert game disk


    when I insert the Namco classic games disk Xbox starts Blu Ray mode and shows a screen in multiple languages saying that "this is an Xbox game disc, you should insert it in an Xbox".

    Is the problem with the disk or the Xbox? How to fix this?

    Blu Ray Problem

    Hello,

    I've got a problem with the Blu Ray player of my Xbox One. I tried to watch the Blu Ray game of thrones season 1, but it didn't work. If I insert the disk the App starts but then I have just blackscreen and jumping to the main menu doesn't work as well.
    The strange is yesterday it worked without any problem. The Xbox plays other Blu Rays and DVDs without an problem.

    Hi all

    Can somebody help me please? The only disk that loads on my xbox one is Elder Scrolls online. Blu ray movies will not play or other game disks such as Destiny.

    All disks are spotless, xbox system is up to date. Reinstalled the blu ray app, console reset power off brick all done.

    It only plays scrolls which i think is very strange.

    Can anybody help.

    Hi there

    I hope this doesn´t sound silly, but are you sure that it is a XBox One Game? XBox 360 Games do NOT work on the One.

    Hope it helped a little

    It just says "Xbox" not one or 360, should I assume it is 360?

    very sorry to say, but then it is a XBox 360 Game.

    At least we have the problem solved that your XBox One is NOT broken Xbox plays Blu Ray when I insert game disk :D

    My disc dive isn't spining. 0x80820002

    Try inserting a Blu Ray disk and see if it prompts you to install the Blu Ray app.

    Same problem. Keeps saying Not able to purchase at this time. Please try again later.

    Also, when I put in my original disk, Blu-Ray player keeps coming up. Uninstalled Blu-Ray app and asks me to install Blu-Ray app again when inserting Black Ops disk.

    WTF!

    Disk ejecting noise

    No disk looks to have been damaged, can't see any marks. Yes the sound is the same with Blu-rays.. its not a noise that happens whilst playing, its just when I eject the disk it sounds quite rough and not smooth like when inserting a disk.

    I don't think load was the right word. I got the game to initially load. I put in the disk, and the xbox prompted that i needed an update (around 8gb). It downloaded and installed and i was able to play the game. When i turned off the xbox for the night
    and tried to play the next day i keep getting error messages.

    Do you own this game or app...Insert the disk.

    When i insert the disk i get the message that something has gone wrong and it always sends me to download the blu-ray player.

    Regular Blu Ray not playing at XBox One

    XBox does not recognize any Blu Ray disc movie. I tried other Blu Ray discs and they didn't work too. But when I insert a 4K movie, it plays.
