    Xbox Play Anywhere not allowing access to previously purchased games


    So I bought a game that clearly states that it is compatible with Xbox play anywhere, but when I try to go to the store and get it with windows 10, it still shows the price like I need to buy it again. It isn't that big of a deal but I want to know what
    the issue is because I already checked that I have the right versions and when I look it up it says that you will automatically be able to access it for free if you have already bought it. It was the digital version too, so I have no clue what the problem
    is. I bought my laptop after the game, so that is my only idea as to why it wouldn't work, but my account is already synced.

    Xbox Play Anywhere

    I'd like to vote for Just Cause 3 to be available as an Xbox Play Anywhere game. My windows 10 PC is the only place I can play it, so allowing it to be an Xbox Play Anywhere Game would not only gain the game my revenue, but the revenue of many others who

    When you purchase content it is tied to the gamertag that it was purchased on as well as the console it was purchased on. The console license will allow all profiles on that console to access the content.

    So if your sons are playing on different consoles, they won't work. If they are playing on the same console then it sounds like the game had previously been purchased on a different console. If that's the case, the son that purchased the game would need
    to sign in and complete a license transfer (http://xbox.com/drm) and that should allow your other son to access the game.

    It depends on the games. Only games that are Play Anywhere will allow you to buy them for the Xbox and redownload/play them on the PC and vice versa. If they're not Play Anywhere games, you would have to purchase the PC version in order to play them on the PC. https://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/xbox-play-anywhere

    Hello, I'm trying to play Halo Master Chief Collection digital version which I have owned since the day it came out on xbox in November 2014.

    Had you previously also purchased it for PC? That game is not Play Anywhere, so if you only bought it for the console, it will only work on the console.
