    Do I need to own an Xbox One to play an Xbox play anywhere title on the PC?

    Hi,

    No, absolutely not! You do not need to have an Xbox One to play a Play Anywhere title.

    You just need to have a fully updated Windows 10 Anniversary (version 1607).

    Be careful that ONLY the digital versions are Play Anywhere. NOT the disc version.

    If it is a play anywhere title then yes. List here- Xbox Play Anywhere | Xbox

    If not, you'll unfortunately will have to buy the pc version separately.

    Xbox Play Anywhere games    . At this point, Sunset Overdrive is a game that must be purchased for each platform in order to play it. Keep an eye on the Xbox Play Anywhere list as it will continue to be updated. We hope this helps!
