Xbox Play Anywhere and Windows 10

Discus and support Xbox Play Anywhere and Windows 10 in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; It says you need Windows 10 Anniversary Edition to play but if I have the newer version of windows will I still be able to play the Xbox Play Anywhere...     It says you need Windows 10 Anniversary Edition to play but if I have the newer version of windows will I still be able to play the Xbox Play Anywhere titles on my pc?

    Xbox Play Anywhere is NOT an emulator. The Xbox Play Anywhere games are compiled for the Windows 10 PC platform as well as Xbox. There is no emulation going on, which would unnecessarily slow down the games. They run natively on Windows 10, not an emulated
    Xbox environment.

    Games on Xbox 360 are currently not accessible on a Windows 10 platform due to its system requirements.

    Instead, we have Xbox Play Anywhere - a digital entitlement that lets you play on both Xbox One and Windows 10 PC at no additional cost. To take advantage of Xbox Play Anywhere, you will need to install the Windows 10 Anniversary Edition update on your PC,
    as well as the latest update on your Xbox One console. Then, simply log into your Xbox Live/Microsoft account and your Xbox Play Anywhere games will be available to download. On your Xbox One, games will show as “Ready to Install” under “My Games and Apps”.
    On your Windows 10 PC, games will appear in “My Library.”

    A number of games are what is known as Xbox Play Anywhere. This allows them to be available to both Xbox One and Windows 10. Unfortunately, that only works in digital format. Disc-based games for Xbox One will only work on Xbox One, and are not compatible
    with Windows 10, even if the actual game is available as Xbox Play Anywhere (unfortunately, SW Battlefront is not Play Anywhere).

    Minecraft Windows 10 Edition.     In reference to your question, if the game was purchase for Windows 10 the license will only work on the PC. Take Forza 4 for instance, this is know as a play anywhere games. Check out this link:
