    Hi, I have the Microsoft Charge and Play accessory. Now, the little LED will not light. It used to be white when the battery was charged or yellow / orange when it was charging. Now it does not light at all. Help!

    Xbox One Plug and Play Kit Charging Problems

    I purchased the xbox one play and charge kit. I plugged it in last night to charge to an outlet and the led light is an amber orange which shows it is charging. When I woke up this morning it is still the same color (not white like it is suppose to be to show that it charged). I disconnect it and the controller turns off as if to show there is no charge to it whatsoever. I have the day one edition controller not sure if this makes a difference, any help is appreciated.

    Is your console turned on? Are you able to see if the battery symbol shows it is charging?

    These charging kits, unfortunately, do not last forever. Here is the play and charge support page which has more troubleshooting options. It does say Xbox One, but the kits work the same on the 360.

    Hello SpectralBoar170, ideally leave it on, you can turn it off but check it keeps charging the battery.

    "The light on the play and charge cable will turn orange to indicate that the battery is charging. When the light becomes white, the rechargeable batteries will be fully charged."
