Xbox picture goes black intermittently on dash or in game, eventually completely black with ...

Xbox goes into Av receiver which goes out to TV. Had no problems for months. Last few weeks started going black in game or on dash, still have sound, now as soon as I boot completely black. If I bypass receiver all works fine. Receiver back in, have
sound but no picture. Receiver works absolutely fine with my other inputs that in turn output to same TV. Only an issue with Xbox which I can no longer play.

Bad disc. Anyone else.

When you get to captain keys level the screen goes black everytime. The game is still working you can still here the sound and the fighting going on and you dying you just have no picture.

Same here, playing pes2015,suddenly black except menus in the game. Dash is still normal. Need to restart the game

Ok so I just changed the HDMI out that came with the Xbox One as it was the last variable in the system that could have been faulty. For ten minutes I was able to play and then the screen went black for around 3 seconds, the top left displayed 1080p, 12bit
as if maybe the Xbox was trying to alter something on the display.

The picture then worked for another minute before it finally went permanently black. No more Xbox. Sound still works, no picture.

Am I posting this in the correct place for technical support? Is this a firmware error or is my Xbox One broken? I'm a Day One customer am I entitles to Warranty?

I have heard that some are experiencing the black screen intermittently while playing a game - and have also read that this is due to some further updates being applied in the background. During the black screen incidents, the users can hear the game, just
can't see it. Eventually the game appears again. These updates may be occurring during the next few days. I can't say this as fact unless I hear directly from Support, but this is what I've been reading recently as issues develop. I haven't heard about anyone's
game shutting down completely though.
