    xbox phone app won't let me reply to messages due to xbox setting


    all of a sudden this the xbox app on my phone just up and stopped letting me reply to messages. it lets me go through all of the motions but when i tap send, it tells me i have to change xbox settings to be able to reply. **** is this? i have looked through
    the settings, and all i have to say is that i hate your patchwork quilted together software. the app doesn't even tell me the setting that needs to be changed!!!!!!!!

    Android App messages blocked.

    My Xbox one app on android won't let me message friends. I get the message saying feature blocked, modify privacy settings go to Xbox.com

    I have searched but can't find the correct setting to modify. Please help.

    The issue isn't using messaging when I'm in front of my Xbox. Here's my situation:

    My son has an Xbox at his mother's house, and for reasons that I won't expand on, the only way he can communicate with me is though Xbox messaging. When he messages me I would like to be able to view and reply from my mobile phone while not being connected
    to a wireless network.

    If there's a messaging app for Android that alerts and allows two way messaging with only having a 4G connection, that would be a solution.
