    Xbox permanent ban


    My son has received a permanent ban on our account during covid isolation. We share the account but It’s registered to me. He assures me that he can’t work out what has happened! Sometimes we probably swear in frustration, but nothing that could result in a permanent ban. We’ve had this Xbox for 8yrs.

    I am unable to contact Xbox through our account as it doesn’t allow us to access our account. No enforcement action is listed and the US Xbox telephone number is now unobtainable! What is happening. Xbox and Microsoft appear to have put up every obstacle to be contacted. Help needed!

    Hello!

    Permanent account bans are not given without intense consideration and review. These bans are for extremely severe violations of the Xbox Code of Conduct. Permanent bans are not eligible for review and the only option is to create a new account.

    There's typically no hard rule for how many bans result in a permanent ban. Typically it depends on how frequent, the type of suspensions, the severity of the activity, etc. However, permanent bans full bans, meaning your Xbox live account would no longer
    work.
