    Xbox PC Wireless Gaming Receiver


    I recently purchased
    this receiver     off Amazon, and I plugged it into my computer. I got a popup that said it failed to install the driver. Fine. I pop in the disc, and I see
    this, so I open "PC Driver" which has a folder, and a .inf file. Inside the folder, there's a .dll and .sys. No setup file, so I download the official driver off the Microsoft site. It installs fine,
    so back to the disc, I click "Software" and there's two setup's, so I try to run one, and get this window.

    Then I try the other one, and get
    this window    . Not really sure what else to do now. The receiver is plugged in and working, and when I click the sync button on the controller (Yes, it's on) it spins, so I press the sync on the receiver, it starts blinking, and the controller stops spinning
    (like it does with the Xbox), but it doesn't go to the "Player 1", it goes back to all 4 flashing. Any help please!

    I've tried the device manager, and just tried to do it in the root E:/ (my disc drive) directory, and got nothing, so I tried doing the "Software" folder, and got this

    Hallelujah! I found the driver I installed off the website in the device manager and it works fine now!

    Hey there operezc - the Xbox Wireless Speed Wheel would not be officially supported by the Wireless Gaming Receiver on your PC.

    For wireless Xbox 360 controllers, you cannot use the charging cable to connect to a PC (it only transfers power, not data). To use the controller with a PC, you will either need an "Xbox 360 controller for Windows" (non-detachable cable) or use your existing
    wireless controller with the wireless gaming receiver for Windows.
