Xbox + PC Sound Question

Hey there!

So I managed to set up my Xbox One to listen to the Xbox Sound + PC Sound over the same Headset. Simply I just used and AUX/AUX Cable from my Monitor to PC and this works just fine. The problem is, I can only hear the ingame Voice Chat of other people when
I plug in my headset directly to the Xbox One Controller. When I do that, I can't listen to my PC audio at the same time.

Is it somehow posible for me to fix this easily? So I hear PC Sound + Xbox Game Sound + Xbox Voice Chat on the same Headset? That would be awesome!

Does anyone have the Turtle Beach X12 with DSS?

This forum's a little old but I have this setup also, and to answer the second question YES you can have a surround sound setup on Mac/PC also but that's only through the optical cable just so as long as you don't mind switching between the Xbox and Mac/PC
every time.

I currently run my PC through the 3.5mm and Xbox through optical, and if I want surround sound in my movies I just watch it on the Xbox.

How to connect PC speakers to Xbox One?

Hi all! I use pc monitor to use my Xbox One. I have an audio output on my monitor, so I can connect my head phone to my monitor and list to sound, but I'm not able to use my PC speakers.

So my question is "does anyone has any suggestions on how to connect pc speaker to Xbox?"

Hey there Padrino02.

To clarify, are you streaming your Xbox One to your Windows 10 PC? You should just be able to plug your headphones into your PC to hear both Xbox One and PC sounds.

Does your PC meet the system requirements for the game? It sounds like a stupid question, but it will tell me a lot.

Have you attempted to redeem the code that you were sent on the Windows Store?

This may sound like a silly question, but when you made the purchase I want you confirm that it was for PC and not the XBox by mistake.

Got one a week ago. My XBOX sound was going through my PC to my PC speakers, I had it jumper plugged into the adapter for the XBOX. This caused some distortion coming back from the PC sound card. Then plugged it into the PC headphone out and it worked
fine.

THEN got the DSS2 surround sound adapter and it uses the digitial out on the XBOX , even better and sound is straight from the Xbox and I can still have the PC with the subwoofer going too.
