Xbox PC not recognizing Game Pass Ultimate sub until after logging out then in

Hello everyone.

I'm having an issue with the Xbox PC app claiming that I don't have a Game Pass Ultimate subscription, even though I have one until 2023. I have 2 separate accounts that do seem to be linked together correctly since my the gaming account and gamertag are correct and my store account (which uses a different email) is also correct. Under Subscriptions it says "Get Xbox Game Pass for PC," and when clicking Manage it takes me to my subscriptions which correctly shows my Game Pass Ultimate sub. The only way to get it to cooperate is to log off and back on, which then gets it to see the sub.

Is there a way to fix this so that the sub is recognized on it's initial startup so I don't need to log out/in for it to work?

Sorry for the long delay in reply; been very busy.

The Windows Store App has never really been an issue, and I can't see how that would directly affect the Xbox app's ability to check to see if I have Game Pass, but I did all that anyways and nothing has changed; the app still says "Get Game Pass" despite that account having a Game Pass subscription until 2023.

Try to check for the latest windows update: How to get software and driver updates for Windows 10 | Xbox Support

If the issue persists, try to clear the Microsoft Store cache

Press Windows Key + R to launch Run.
Enter wsreset.exe and hit Enter.
Once the reset process finished, restart your PC and then check if the Windows Store App works as it should.

If i understand the problem, you want to buy them both an Xbox Game Pass subscription to play on their respective PC's ? Buy an Xbox Game Pass PC sub for each or a Ultimate Game Pass. Log their account on Xbox beta app on PC and buy them the correct sub.
Or use xbox.com with their account correctly sign in and buy them Xbox Game Pass for PC.
