    Xbox PC Installer won't go past 1/4 of the way


    Hello,

    I've encountered an issue with the Xbox PC installer, where it won't install properly. It does not get stuck at 'making things awesome,' as some have an issue with online. It continue scrolling through the text, but the bar simply stops increasing, always at a specific place (roughly 1/4 of the way through).

    On the Microsoft Store, the download doesn't get past 65kb, and sometimes doesn't start the download at all.

    I'm aware this is a fairly common issue, but all the suggested solutions online haven't helped. Can anybody offer advice?

    Hi, EV6N. I hope you're doing well and safe out there. I'm an Independent Advisor and I’m happy to help you today.

    Sorry to hear about that. Have you tried disabling iPv6? Kindly also make sure all the required services are running to solve Xbox app sync issues on Windows.

    Open the Start menu, search Services then open Services. Scroll down the list and find all of the Xbox entries (they are near the bottom).

    Gaming Services (There are 2 of them)

    Xbox Accessory Management Service

    Xbox Live Auth Manager

    Xbox Live Game Save

    Xbox Live Networking Service

    When you find them right-click on them and select Start. If you can see that they are already running you can skip them.

    ...and now I just read that Fallout 4's PC version mods will be playable on the Xbox One. That's, pretty big news.

    Of course, hopefully I won't upload and use any of them until way past the end game. We'll see. lol

    In the past 4 years or so I've had maybe 2 games give me problems on PC. So lets not start.

    Either way, the time it takes to instal is not even close to the issue at hand.

    I just bought this game from BestBuy & having a similar issue. The game appears to be stuck during the installation phase of the game. The screen shows: Disc 5.72 GB of 5.72 GB and under this shows: Network 48.25 GB of 160.54 GB and further down it shows 32.6%. I’ve been trying to install this game for well over five hours now. I’ve tried everything!
